Social Anxiety
Is shyness and anxiety getting in your way of socializing?
You feel extreme nervousness about an upcoming class presentation.
Perhaps you feel self-conscious and find it hard to fit in.
You may be struggling with low self-confidence.
Or find yourself dreading any social gatherings.
Most probably, you’re feeling lonely deep inside when trying to make new connections.
You’re now beginning to see that this is impacting different facets of your life:
You avoid social settings and tasks.
You’re having difficulties connecting with romantic interests.
You don’t have many friends or a social life.
You doubt yourself and your abilities.
You find yourself limited in the places you can go to.
Social anxiety therapy can help.
You may feel like it is impossible right now, but…
You can feel confident and safe being yourself.
You can go out and connect again.
You can overcome the extreme anxiety that you have struggled with for so long.
And I can help you get there.
Social Anxiety Therapy helps you do #3 things…
Identify triggers
Identify and become aware of your triggers, fears, and worries as they relate to yourself, others, and social settings. Gain insight into where they may be coming from for more control.
Self-validation & regulation
Learn to comfort and validate yourself to feel safe in any situation, and overcome the intense emotions that may be triggered by social anxiety. Trust and provide the approval to yourself that you have sought for so long and fully accept yourself to show up authentically without shame, guilt, or doubt.
Apply the skills to target behaviors
Gain back your control and power by learning and applying the skills to cope with difficult social situations. Address any negative or anxious thoughts that may be limiting you, such as fear of judgment and criticism, taking things personally, worrying that something bad might happen, or feeling stuck in crowds.
Shyness & fear of judgment don’t have to be your story.
It’s time to SHINE at your full potential.
I’ll help through this process of regaining trust in yourself and finding composure, by taking the approach of Empowerment: regaining self-confidence and the ability to stay calm in social settings to be able to socialize and form meaningful, fulfilling connections.
I want you to know:
Your voice matters, and you have a place in this world.
